More prisoners turn in as probe continues

The fact-finding committee formed by the Rawalpindi police to investigate negligence and circumstances behind the escape of serious accused from a prison van during their transfer from Kahuta court to Central Jail Adiala via the Sihala police station area is continuing its inquiry.

Initial findings suggest that the planning of the escape may have been carried out inside Central Jail Adiala, while indications have also emerged that multiple accused from the same locality were scheduled for hearings on the same day, which reportedly created confusion among police officials.
