Speculation surrounding a possible new Eevee evolution in Pokémon Winds and Waves has intensified after fans spotted unusual wording in the description of an upcoming Pokémon merchandise item.

The discussion began after Reddit user ForTheLastTime- shared a screenshot of an official Target product description for a new Pokémon collection.

Among the items listed was an Eevee-themed camera, described as featuring "Eevee and all its currently discovered Evolutions with their Pokédex numbers."

The phrase "currently discovered Evolutions" prompted some fans to wonder whether it could hint at a new Eeveelution arriving in the Generation 10 games, which are scheduled for release in 2027.

"Is it just weird wording? Confirmation that a new evolution is on its way?" the Reddit user wrote. "My hopium is a new Eevee evolution! I would love to see a Fighting or a Poison type."

However, not all fans interpreted the wording as evidence of a new addition to the franchise. Some suggested it is simply standard language used in Pokémon materials, leaving room for future discoveries without confirming anything.

"That's how they normally refer to some Pokémon for some reason," wrote Reddit user Pale_Song902. "In the Pokédex they commonly use 'currently discovered' because new gens keep adding more stuff (POTENTIALLY, not always)."

The mixed reaction reflects ongoing fan speculation about what Pokémon Winds and Waves could introduce when it launches. While rumours have previously suggested a Flying-type Eeveelution, fans have also proposed other unused types, including Fighting and Poison.

At present, no official announcement has confirmed a new Eevee evolution for the upcoming titles. Pokémon Winds and Waves was officially announced for release in 2027.
