Netflix is bringing in new films and return of classics, from 'Enola Holmes 3' to 'The Hunger Games' series

As the summer heat continues and a new month begins, Netflix is refreshing its catalogue with a mix of highly anticipated originals and beloved classics.

From brand-new series and returning fan favourites to blockbuster films and nostalgic throwbacks, July's lineup offers something for every kind of viewer.

Leading the month's releases is Enola Holmes 3, alongside a host of fresh titles and returning favourites arriving throughout the month.

Enola Holmes 3 (July 1)

Millie Bobby Brown returns as the sharp-witted younger sister of Sherlock Holmes in the third instalment of Netflix’s hit mystery franchise.

Brown once again stars opposite Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, while Louis Partridge returns as Lord Tewkesbury. Helena Bonham Carter is also expected to reprise her role as the unconventional Holmes matriarch, Eudoria.

The new film follows Enola as she takes on her most dangerous case yet, forcing her to confront powerful enemies while continuing to carve out her own identity beyond the shadow of her famous brother.

Survival of the Thickest – Final Season (July 2)

Michelle Buteau returns for the third and final season of the acclaimed comedy series Survival of the Thickest.

Inspired by Buteau's memoir, the series follows Mavis Beaumont, a plus-sized stylist rebuilding her life after heartbreak while navigating friendships, career ambitions and the New York fashion scene. The show has earned praise for its refreshing representation, body positivity and heartfelt humour.

The final season promises to wrap up Mavis' journey as she balances romance, personal growth and professional success.

Little House on the Prairie (July 9)

Netflix is introducing a brand-new adaptation of the beloved Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Rather than simply recreating the classic television series, the new adaptation aims to present a fresh take on the pioneering family's story for modern audiences while remaining faithful to the source material. Love Is Blind UK: After the Altar (July 12)

The couples from the first UK edition of Netflix's hit dating experiment reunite in Love Is Blind UK: After the Altar.

Fans of Alice Oseman's beloved coming-of-age story can also look forward to Heartstopper Forever.

The latest chapter continues the heartfelt romance between Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson as they navigate growing up, relationships, university decisions and an uncertain future together.

Classic films making their return

Alongside its original releases, Netflix is also adding a wide selection of familiar favourites.

Action and thrillers include Spider-Man: Homecoming, Gone Girl, Ride Along, Ride Along 2, Ali and all five The Hunger Games films, giving viewers the perfect opportunity to revisit some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters.

Comedy fans can enjoy cult favourites including White Chicks and the animated hit The Boss Baby.

Horror lovers have plenty to choose from with Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3, The Exorcism and the Japanese fantasy film Rebirth of Mothra III joining the library.

Romance and drama are represented by The Vow, while families can revisit the timeless classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

On the television side, The Walking Dead Season 3 also arrives, giving fans another chance to revisit the early years of the long-running zombie drama.
