Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal thank Pakistani fans ahead of 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

Stars share special message for Pakistani audiences, urging fans to watch movie when it opens in cinemas on July 31

Pakistani Marvel fans received a surprise this week as Hollywood stars Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal shared a special video message thanking audiences in Pakistan for their continued support ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

In the video, the actors, who will share the screen in the upcoming superhero film, expressed their appreciation for the enthusiasm shown by Pakistani moviegoers over the years while encouraging them to watch the latest instalment in cinemas.

"Hi Pakistan! Thank you for all the support and love you have given to Spider-Man over the years," the pair said.

Referring to the franchise's previous success, they added: "No Way Home broke records and became the all-time highest-grossing release. Let's break records again with Brand New Day! See Spider-Man: Brand New Day in cinemas across Pakistan on July 31."

The personalised message from Holland and Bernthal has already generated excitement among Pakistani fans, with anticipation building ahead of the film's theatrical release later this month.

 

The movie picks up four years after the cataclysmic events of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), where Peter Parker made the ultimate sacrifice, allowing Doctor Strange to cast a spell that erased his identity from the memories of everyone he loves, including MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon).

Now an adult living completely isolated in New York City, Peter has leaned entirely into his superhero persona, operating as a full-time Spider-Man. However, fighting street-level crime in a world that doesn’t remember him brings a crushing psychological toll.

This darker, grounded reality brings him into the orbit of Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, played by Bernthal.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie explores an evolving, rougher side of Peter's powers as he handles the pressure of his loneliness while tackling new threats, including Michael Mando’s Scorpion.
