Cara Delevingne has revealed that she has been engaged twice, sharing the previously undisclosed detail during an appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast.
The 33-year-old actress and model made the revelation while discussing her personal life and current relationship with musician Minke, whose real name is Leah Mason.
When asked whether she is engaged to Minke, Cara replied, "No. I have been engaged... I've been proposed to. I've also proposed to someone."
Host Louis Theroux expressed surprise, but Cara declined to reveal the identities of her former fiancées.
"Was that not known?" she asked with a laugh. "(It) doesn't matter (who to) now. They're long gone. Sucks for them!"
Although Cara did not name her former partners, she previously dated musician St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clark, from 2014 to 2016.
The pair sparked engagement rumours after being seen wearing matching rings in 2015, although neither confirmed the speculation.
She was also the subject of engagement rumours during her relationship with actress Ashley Benson between 2019 and 2020, but those reports were never confirmed.
During the interview, Cara explained that she never wanted marriage despite accepting engagements.
"It was something about actual marriage that I really didn't believe in, but it was engagement that made me feel like they might not leave me. So it was like, 'Oh, if we're engaged, that means there's an extra line they have to go to leave,'" she said.
She added, "But I actually never wanted to get married. Like, that really scared me because I really believe in freedom... whenever I feel tied down to something, it makes me go, 'Wait a minute. Wait a minute, that feels funny.'"
Cara said she still believes in "a spiritual union" and hopes to have children one day, adding, "I would love more than anything to have kids."
The actress has been in a relationship with Minke since 2022.
