Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's reported wedding just took another unexpected turn

Madison Square Garden will reportedly host two events tied to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding this week

Madison Square Garden is reportedly set to host two events connected to the highly anticipated wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, according to sources familiar with the plans.

The events are expected to take place later this week, although neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed the wedding details.

According to ABC News, the first event is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. and is expected to host approximately 100 attendees. A second, significantly larger event is reportedly planned for Friday afternoon, beginning with a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. and continuing until 4 a.m. on Saturday. Sources said around 1,000 guests are expected to attend the Friday celebration.

Reports also indicate that both events will operate under a strict no-phone policy, applying to guests, vendors and security personnel. Organisers have reportedly arranged extensive privacy measures, including permits to temporarily close sections of West 31st Street and West 33rd Street surrounding Madison Square Garden. Tents and canopies are also expected to be installed to shield arrivals and departures from public view, while Seventh and Eighth Avenues are currently expected to remain open.

Representatives for Swift and Kelce have not commented on the reported plans.

Speculation surrounding the couple's wedding has intensified in recent weeks following multiple reports suggesting they could marry during the Fourth of July holiday period. Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced their engagement in August 2025 after beginning their relationship in 2023.

While details remain unconfirmed, the reported preparations at Madison Square Garden have further fuelled anticipation surrounding one of the entertainment industry's most closely watched celebrity weddings. Fans continue to await official confirmation from the couple regarding the ceremony and its schedule.
