Keke Palmer says BET should have picked her to host Druski on stage
Keke Palmer told BET 'This should've been my gig' during live exchange with host Druski

Keke Palmer delivered one of the night's most talked-about moments during the 2026 BET Awards, joking that she should have been chosen to host the ceremony while exchanging playful banter with host Druski.
The moment unfolded during the awards show in Los Angeles as Druski moved through the VIP audience, joking with celebrities in attendance.
When he approached Palmer with a catcall, the actress and entertainer quickly responded, "I don't need none of that."
The pair continued their light-hearted exchange, including a discussion about Druski's place on Forbes magazine's Top Creators list. Palmer then grabbed the microphone and jokingly turned the tables on the host.
"You're doing too much. This should've been my gig," Palmer said before adding, "Why the hell would they have you host? This is the problem with BET."

The comments were delivered in a humorous tone as part of the onstage interaction, prompting laughter from the audience before Palmer smoothly introduced the next segment of the show.
The exchange came during a ceremony hosted by Druski, whose comedic style has generated discussion in recent months.
Earlier this year, the entertainer faced criticism over a comedy sketch titled "How Conservative Women in America Act," in which he wore white makeup and a blonde wig.
Although the sketch did not identify a specific individual, some viewers believed the character resembled Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
