Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are reportedly experiencing a difficult period in their relationship as the couple navigate conflicting priorities over where to build their future together.

According to The Blast, sources claim the pair have hit a rough patch over relocation plans, with Foster reportedly keen to establish a more permanent home with the Australian actor while Jackman remains committed to spending significant time in New York.

An insider alleged that the couple are "not in a happy relationship at the moment", claiming differing expectations about their future have created tension.

"Hugh and Sutton love each other, but they're trying to figure out what the next stage of their relationship looks like," the source reportedly said, adding that discussions about where to live have become a sticking point.

Jackman and Foster first sparked romance rumours after they were seen together in early 2025, months after announcing the end of their respective long-term marriages. The pair had previously developed a close friendship while starring together in the Broadway revival of The Music Man.

The report claims Foster is looking for greater stability after her divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin, while Jackman is balancing his career commitments with co-parenting his two children following his separation from Deborra-Lee Furness in 2023.

Despite the reported strain, the source suggested the relationship has not ended, saying the couple are attempting to work through their differences rather than walking away.

Neither Jackman nor Foster has publicly commented on the claims, and the reports remain unverified.

Jackman is currently promoting his latest film projects following the release of The Death of Robin Hood, while Foster continues her stage career after earning widespread acclaim for her performances on Broadway.
