Australian DJ and producer Alison Wonderland has described serving as Stadium Captain at the 2026 FIFA World Cup as “one of the top moments of my entire life” after leading the official match ball onto the pitch ahead of Australia's Group D clash against Paraguay. The musician shared her excitement following the special honour, calling it both a privilege and a career highlight.

Taking to Instagram after the match, Wonderland wrote: “WHAT AN HONOR AND PRIVILEGE TO WALK THE BALL ONTO THE FIELD FOR THE AUSTRALIA VS PARAGUAY FIFA WORLD CUP GAME. Being stadium captain has to be one of the top moments of my entire life. Speaking to Billboard, Wonderland said the invitation came as a complete surprise and admitted she never imagined she'd be involved in one of the world's biggest sporting events.
