Balochistan employees' protest enters fifth day

The protest movement launched by the Balochistan Grand Alliance continued for the fifth consecutive day on Monday as government offices and institutions across the province remained locked.

Leaders of the Grand Alliance said employees are standing united for their legitimate and constitutional demands and vowed to sustain the movement until all demands are accepted.

The Alliance strongly condemned the police action involving shelling and baton charge during the June 17 protest. They demanded immediate justice for employees injured in the clashes and the immediate release of more than 50 workers still languishing in various jails.
