Casa Amor arrived in dramatic fashion on Sunday’s episode of Love Island USA Season 8, introducing a new twist that allowed the girls to watch the boys’ actions unfold live from the separate villa.
Episode 17 opened with existing tensions among several couples. KC and Aniya remained at odds, while Zach and Kayda continued to clash over trust and communication issues. Kenzie also confronted fellow Islanders after learning her name had been discussed as a potential candidate to leave the villa.
The mood shifted when Islanders prepared for the annual Hearts on Fire challenge.
However, instead of taking part, the girls were surprised to discover a large television screen showing a live feed from Casa Amor, where the boys had already begun interacting with six new bombshells.
As the challenge progressed, the girls watched several flirtatious exchanges, including kisses involving newcomers Amora, Parmida, Jaden, Tierra, Alana and Sydney.
Reactions in the villa grew increasingly tense, particularly when Corbin declared, “I’m going back with somebody different,” a comment heard directly by Kenzie through the live broadcast.
Aniya was also left upset after watching KC connect with Tierra, while Kayda reacted negatively to Zach’s interactions with new arrivals. Throughout the evening, the girls expressed frustration as the boys embraced the Casa Amor experience.
The episode ended without any new couplings, but the fallout from the live-feed twist left relationships under intense scrutiny. With the boys remaining in Casa Amor for the next few days, the loyalty test is now firmly underway, setting the stage for further conflict and difficult decisions.
Love Island USA premieres new episodes daily, except Wednesdays, on Peacock at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
