Gordon Ramsay has reacted to his daughter Holly Ramsay’s announcement that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

Holly, 26, shared the news on Instagram, posting a photograph with Peaty in which she displayed her baby bump. In her caption, she confirmed the due date and the baby’s sex.

“Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026 🐣. We can't wait to meet our baby girl 🩷.”

Following the announcement, Gordon Ramsay commented on his daughter’s post, expressing his excitement about becoming a grandfather for the first time.

“Congratulations to you both, sending lots of love Dad ❤️ I'm going to be a very over excited Grandad especially this Christmas 🤶 😍”

The pregnancy news was widely shared by members of the Ramsay family and their wider circle. Holly’s younger sister, Matilda Ramsay, described the announcement as the “best news ever,” while other public figures also sent messages of congratulations.

Holly and Adam Peaty confirmed their engagement in 2024 after Peaty proposed during a holiday in Greece. At the time, Holly described her relationship with Peaty in an Instagram post, writing that she felt “loved” and “seen,” and expressing excitement about their future together.

The couple married on December 27 2025 at Bath Abbey in England. Gordon Ramsay walked his daughter down the aisle and later spoke about the emotional experience of the wedding, describing it as a “tough gig” while reflecting on the significance of the occasion.

Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay have been married for 29 years and share six children: Megan, Holly, Jack, Matilda, Oscar and Jesse. Holly’s pregnancy marks the first grandchild for the family.
