A wave of online posts has circulated claiming that musician Oliver Tree spent 300 days in Antarctica investigating alleged Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) activity and alien bases, prompting confusion across social media platforms.

Recently, viral posts on X and other platforms have been circulating information about alleged “screenings” of an unreleased Antarctica documentary, fuelling speculation about hidden footage and undisclosed narratives.

However, community notes and user corrections on social platforms have pointed out inconsistencies between these claims and the publicly available details of the expedition.

According to earlier official promotional material and reporting, Tree’s involvement in Antarctica was linked to a 7-day luxury expedition undertaken between December 13 and 20, 2023.

The trip, organised in collaboration with Diplo and Insider Expeditions, was described as a multi-purpose journey featuring DJ sets, live performances, wellness activities and documentary filming focused on environmental awareness.

The expedition was marketed as part of a climate-focused project, with participants travelling aboard a luxury vessel operating in polar regions.

No credible documentation supports claims that the artist spent extended periods such as 300 days in Antarctica, nor that the project involved investigations into alien bases or UAP sites.

The rumours started gaining traction following news of the singer's tragic death in a helicopter crash.

Tree was among six people who died after two helicopters collided in Rio de Janeiro on June 14. Authorities are continuing their investigation, while local officials expressed condolences to the families and friends of those affected by the tragedy.

The singer had been travelling in Brazil during his world tour. He had recently performed in São Paulo and was scheduled to continue a series of international dates through October.
