Bunnie Xo has revealed that she and Jelly Roll still plan to have a child together despite their ongoing divorce, saying the former couple remain close friends and intend to co-parent.
The podcast host, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, addressed the split during the latest episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast.
Her comments come weeks after Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, ending their marriage of nearly a decade.
While discussing the separation, Bunnie said the pair remain committed to their plans for parenthood and maintaining a positive relationship.
"We're still having a baby together. We're going to co-parent together. He's my best friend," she said. "J has been so f**kin' great about us having a baby together. We're going to raise our little nugget as one big happy family."
Bunnie also stressed that the split was not caused by infidelity, explaining that their relationship had simply reached a different stage.
"So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered," she said. "Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
The couple married in August 2016 after meeting backstage at one of Jelly Roll's concerts in Las Vegas. They later renewed their vows at the same venue seven years later.
Before their separation, Bunnie had publicly discussed the couple's fertility journey. In her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, released earlier this year, she revealed that they had identified a surrogate and were pursuing plans to expand their family.
She wrote that advances in IVF and the support of a surrogate would help them achieve their goal of becoming parents together.
Speaking on her podcast, Bunnie also addressed rumours linking her to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, firmly denying any romantic involvement.
