CTD official martyred in Nushki firing

A Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) official was martyred after being injured in a firing incident in the Ahmedwal area of Nushki district.

According to Special Assistant to the Balochistan Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind, the attack took place at Ahmedwal Chowk in Nushki. CTD personnel Baba Jan Muhammad Hassni sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

Expressing deep grief and condolences to the bereaved family of the martyred official, Shahid Rind said the Balochistan government stands firmly with the grieving family in this hour of sorrow.

He condemned the attack, stating that terrorists and anti-peace elements will never succeed in their nefarious designs. "The sacrifices of our martyrs will not go in vain," he added.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has taken serious notice of the incident and has directed the concerned authorities to conduct immediate investigations and take all necessary steps for the arrest of the perpetrators. Law enforcement agencies are examining various aspects of the case and investigations are underway.

Rind reiterated the government's firm resolve that the Balochistan administration will continue its operations against terrorism, extremism, and criminal elements with full force. All available resources will be utilized to establish peace and stability in the province.
