Netflix is bringing the world of KPop Demon Hunters to life with a new immersive attraction set to open at Netflix House locations in Dallas and Philadelphia later this year.
The streaming giant announced that KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience will debut during the 2026 holiday season, marking another expansion of one of Netflix’s most successful animated franchises. The announcement arrives one year after the film’s release.
According to Netflix chief marketing officer Marian Lee, the company wanted to recreate as many elements from the film as possible inside the new experience. Speaking to Variety, Lee said the attraction will feature a giant Derpy character for photographs, alongside music-focused activities inspired by the movie.
Research conducted by Netflix indicated that fans wanted opportunities to sing and engage directly with the musical side of the story. As a result, music and performance elements will play a major role throughout the attraction.
Before the official launch, Netflix House visitors in Dallas and Philadelphia will also have the opportunity to attend special fan screenings of KPop Demon Hunters on June 20.
Lee explained that Netflix continues to focus on creating attractions that encourage repeat visits and provide entertainment for local communities. She said the company wants guests to feel they can return regularly, whether for virtual reality experiences, screenings or other activities available inside Netflix House.
The executive also hinted that more global events and pop-up experiences connected to KPop Demon Hunters are currently being planned.
Netflix has increasingly invested in physical fan experiences based on its most popular titles. Previous projects have included attractions inspired by Wednesday, One Piece and Squid Game, allowing audiences to interact with stories beyond the screen.
KPop Demon Hunters has become one of the company’s biggest entertainment properties. Earlier in 2026, the animated film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. The original song "Golden" also earned the Oscar for Best Original Song, making history as the first K-pop track ever to receive the honour.
The win represented a milestone for South Korean talent. EJAE, who provided the singing voice for Rumi, joined songwriters Mark Sonnenblick, Yu Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam and Zhun in becoming the first Korean winners in the category.
Netflix has yet to reveal ticket prices or exact opening dates for the attraction. Further details about KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience are expected later in 2026.
