Police recover 100GB data from Pinky's phone
Investigators probing the case of alleged drug trafficker Anmol alias Pinky have obtained a huge volume of digital evidence from her mobile phone, according to official sources.
Investigators have reportedly extracted more than 100GB of data from the device, which was subjected to forensic examination by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA on police request. The forensic report has now been submitted to the investigating officer.
The recovered material includes around 75,000 images, online transaction records, and hundreds of screenshots of bank deposit slips. Investigators believe these financial records are linked to alleged narcotics sales and monetary exchanges involving those connected to the drug trade.
Sources further said that nearly 13,000 phone contacts were also retrieved from the device, while forensic analysis revealed that Pinky was operating two WhatsApp accounts on the same mobile phone - one linked to a regular SIM-based number and another configured as a business account.
Police had sent the mobile phone for forensic examination on May 15.
