Heated Rivalry star François Arnaud has joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming limited series Count My Lies, adding another major name to the ensemble drama.

According to Deadline, Arnaud will appear in a recurring role as Danny, a friend of Lindsay Lohan’s character Violet. The series features Arnaud alongside Lohan, Shailene Woodley and Kit Harington in the adaptation of Sophie Stava’s debut novel.

Count My Lies follows Sloane, played by Woodley, a compulsive liar who creates a false identity that helps her secure a nanny position with Violet and Jay Lockhart, portrayed by Lohan and Harington. However, after entering their seemingly perfect household, Sloane discovers a world filled with hidden secrets that threaten to unravel everything.

The Hulu limited series is being developed by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who serve as writers, showrunners and executive producers through their production company The Walk-Up Company. According to Deadline, Lindsay Lohan, Shailene Woodley and Scott Morgan are also executive producers, while author Sophie Stava joins as a producer.

The upcoming drama is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios, with Aptaker and Berger currently under an overall deal with the studio.

Arnaud recently gained attention for his role in the Peabody-winning HBO Max series Heated Rivalry. His previous television credits include The Borgias, Surface, The Moodys, Midnight, Texas, UnREAL and Yellowjackets.

The actor has also appeared in films including Twinless and Fucktoys, with additional projects currently in development.

With a cast featuring established stars and a mystery-driven storyline, Count My Lies is shaping up to be one of Hulu’s upcoming drama releases to watch.
