Singer Atif Aslam marked a major career milestone by selling out London's O2 Arena, one of the United Kingdom's largest indoor venues, with television host Anoushey Ashraf joining him to celebrate the occasion.
Following the concert, Ashraf shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on Aslam's journey from Lahore to one of the world's most prominent stages.
"Watching him sell out an arena on the other side of the world didn't just make me happy for an old friend and fellow artist, but made me proud of what Pakistani talent has carried to the global stage," she wrote.
Reflecting on the moment, she said she could not help but think about their early days and how far the singer had come over the past two decades. "His voice has been the soundtrack to so many lives," she wrote, adding that seeing people from different backgrounds sing along to every word was a reminder that music transcends borders.
The occasion was particularly meaningful for Ashraf because it was the first live Pakistani concert she attended with her husband, Shahab. Describing the experience as a privilege, she thanked Aslam for the opportunity and congratulated him on the success of the show. "Here's to passion, perseverance, and to the music that started it all," she wrote.

Aslam also reflected on the milestone during the concert, recalling his college days in Lahore and the friends who supported him during the early stages of his career.
"Who knew a young boy from Lahore, surviving on pocket money and the support of his college friends, sharing lunch with them and commuting to and from college, would after 20 years be performing at London's O2 Arena?" he said.
The singer dedicated a song to those friends, crediting their belief in him as an important part of his journey. He added that their support helped shape a path that eventually led him from modest beginnings in Lahore to performing on some of the world's biggest stages.
