Jen Hamilton sparks divorce speculation after emotional social media post

Influencer and labour and delivery nurse Jen Hamilton has prompted widespread speculation about her marriage after sharing an emotional video on social media in which she appeared in tears and spoke about heartbreak.

Hamilton posted the video on June 13 alongside a caption that suggested she was dealing with a painful personal situation.

While she did not directly confirm a separation or divorce from her husband, Brian Hamilton, many followers interpreted the post as a sign of difficulties in their relationship.

“Day 1: absolutely devastated. Please don’t try to reach out to anybody on my behalf. That would make everything so much worse for me. Please just let me grieve,” Hamilton wrote. “My heart is absolutely shattered.”

She also added, “He broke my heart but I still love him with all the pieces 💔”.

In the video, Hamilton expressed a desire for reassurance from her future self as she navigates the situation.

“I just want the healed version of myself to come and tell me that it’s going to be okay,” she said.

“I need me. I need me in like a year, and me in five years to tell me that I’m not gonna feel like this forever.”

The post quickly attracted messages of support from followers. One commenter referenced divorce while offering encouragement, writing that she would eventually become “the happiest version” of herself.

Hamilton replied, “I’ve just never been enough for him.”

The influencer, who is known online for sharing healthcare content and is the author of Birth Vibes: Stories and Strategies for an Empowered Birth, shares two sons with Brian Hamilton. The couple married in August 2012.

The emotional update has also drawn renewed attention to a post Hamilton shared in March 2025 reflecting on their marriage.

“It hasn’t always been awesome or fun and there was even a time we didn’t think we were going to make it,” she wrote at the time.

“But I’m grateful for mending our family and sticking it out. Social media is fake. Don’t believe people who act like they have it all together. No one does. ❤️”

Neither Jen Hamilton nor Brian Hamilton has publicly confirmed a divorce at the time of writing.
