Nearly 30 years after eloping in Las Vegas, Kelly Ripa is sharing the one thing she wishes she had done differently on her wedding day with Mark Consuelos.

During a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the longtime television host revealed that she still regrets not spending extra money on flowers for their budget-friendly 1996 ceremony.

Ripa joked that the absence of a bouquet left her unsure of what to do with her hands in the wedding photos, creating what she called an awkward-looking picture she rarely shares.

The couple, who met while working on All My Children, tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel for just $179. Despite the missing flowers, both Ripa and Consuelos spoke fondly about the intimate ceremony, praising its simplicity and affordability.

Reflecting on their decision to elope, the pair said the no-fuss wedding allowed them to get married quickly and privately without the stress often associated with larger celebrations.

Consuelos even joked that inexpensive weddings seem to have a better track record when it comes to lasting marriages.

Now approaching three decades together, Ripa and Consuelos remain one of Hollywood's longest-lasting couples, frequently sharing humorous stories about their relationship and family life with fans.
