The Weeknd has reached another major milestone with his ongoing AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN tour. As the singer launched the 2026 UK and European leg with a sold out performance at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 11, new figures revealed that he has sold more than three million tickets during 2026 alone.

According to Variety, the tour has generated $440m this year and continues to add to its already historic success. The stadium trek surpassed $1bn in worldwide grosses in 2025 following the addition of further dates across Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America.

Since beginning in 2022, the AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN tour has sold more than 7.5 million tickets across 153 performances. The achievement made it the highest grossing tour ever by a male solo artist.

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, opened the latest leg with a capacity crowd in Manchester. Additional performances are scheduled throughout the summer in Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Ireland, Spain and Portugal before the tour moves to Asia in the autumn.

The Asian run was originally announced with 11 stadium dates. However, overwhelming demand from fans prompted organisers to expand the schedule to 17 shows. The singer is due to perform in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur before bringing the multi year tour to an end later this year.

The ongoing success of the tour comes amid comments made by The Weeknd to Variety in 2025, when he revealed plans to eventually retire his famous stage name. He indicated that future projects could be released under his birth name, Abel Tesfaye, making the current era potentially the last major world tour under The Weeknd identity.

Beyond commercial success, the artist has continued his philanthropic partnerships throughout the tour. He is working with Global Citizen to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to improve access to quality education for children worldwide.

He is also maintaining his partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme through the XO Humanitarian Fund. Across the European dates, €1 from every ticket sold and £1 from each ticket purchased in the United Kingdom will be donated to support educational initiatives and efforts to combat global hunger.

Fans are also being given opportunities to win tickets by participating in Global Citizen campaigns focused on ending extreme poverty.
