Allen Lazard and Camila Escribens reportedly split and call off their engagement after becoming parents in August

Former New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and former Miss Peru Camila Escribens have reportedly ended their engagement and gone their separate ways, according to TMZ.

The couple, who welcomed their first child together less than a year ago, had already sent out wedding invitations before calling off their plans to marry, TMZ reported. The reason for the reported split has not been disclosed, and neither Lazard nor Escribens has publicly commented on the breakup.

Lazard proposed to Escribens in May 2025 during a romantic beachside proposal in Montauk, New York. The proposal featured a candlelit path surrounded by white flowers and a large heart-shaped floral display with a neon marriage proposal sign.

The couple later announced their engagement on social media, with Escribens sharing the date alongside a photo of her engagement ring.

Their relationship became public in 2024, when Escribens, who was crowned Miss Peru in 2023, began sharing photos with Lazard and supporting him at his NFL games. Lazard also publicly praised Escribens, describing her as his “number 1 supporter,” best friend and “forever love” in a 2025 Valentine’s Day post.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby during a gender reveal celebration in July 2025. Their daughter was born in October 2025.

According to TMZ, Escribens has since removed her engagement announcement and references to Lazard from her Instagram account. Lazard’s social media presence also reportedly contains few remaining references to Escribens.

Lazard, who previously played for the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers, remains a prominent name in the NFL. Escribens gained recognition after winning the Miss Peru title in 2023.

TMZ said it contacted both Lazard and Escribens for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
