Lioness season 3 has delivered a strong start on Paramount+, attracting 7.1 million viewers during its first three days of streaming, according to Paramount’s internal viewing data.

The Taylor Sheridan-created spy drama premiered its third season on August 2, with the latest audience figures showing significant growth compared with the debut of Lioness season 2 in 2024.

The strong performance adds to the growing success of Taylor Sheridan’s television slate on Paramount+. Earlier this year, The Madison recorded 8 million views over 10 days, while Dutton Ranch reached 12.9 million viewers during its first seven days.

Lioness also performed strongly outside the United States. The series streams on SkyShowtime in Europe, where season 3 has reportedly surpassed the first two seasons and is tracking toward becoming one of the platform’s five biggest returning premieres.

The third season continues to follow CIA officers Joe, played by Zoe Saldaña, and Kaitlyn, portrayed by Nicole Kidman. The new season sees Joe facing increasing pressure as mysterious forces threaten both her professional responsibilities and personal life.

According to the official storyline, Joe begins noticing unexplained patterns and disappearing names while confronting enemies operating from the shadows. Kaitlyn and Westfield, played by Michael Kelly, guide her through an increasingly dangerous mission.

The Lioness season 3 cast also includes Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, Morgan Freeman and several returning performers.

Sheridan executive produces the series alongside Saldaña, Kidman and other producers. Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce Lioness for Paramount+.
