Tyler Childers has postponed two upcoming stops on his ongoing SNIPE HUNT tour as he and his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, prepare to welcome their second child.

The country star announced that his June 10 performance at Darien Lake Amphitheater near Buffalo, New York, and his June 11 show at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania would no longer take place as originally scheduled.

A statement shared through Childers’ Instagram account confirmed that the couple’s new arrival is imminent.

“As many of you know, Tyler and Senora have been preparing to welcome a new baby. That time has come, and the decision has been made to reschedule the two upcoming shows only,” the message read.

The Darien Lake concert has now been moved to August 13, while the Hersheypark Stadium performance will take place on August 14. Special guest Evan Honer will still appear at both rescheduled events.

Fans who already purchased tickets will not need to take any further action, as existing tickets will remain valid for the new dates. Those unable to attend the August concerts can request refunds through their original point of purchase during the next 30 days.

Childers announced earlier this year that Senora May was expecting the couple’s second child. During the announcement in February, he revealed that the baby was due in the summer but did not provide a specific date.

The pair married in 2015 and welcomed their first child in 2023. Although Childers has generally kept his family life private, he has frequently credited his wife with influencing his music and creative journey.

The Kentucky native has become one of modern country music’s most successful artists, earning acclaim for songs including “All Your’n,” “In Your Love,” “Feathered Indians,” “Shake the Frost,” “Lady May” and “Oneida.” His blend of country, bluegrass, folk and Americana has helped him build a large audience, with millions of monthly listeners across streaming platforms.

Despite the brief interruption, only the two June concerts have been affected. Childers is currently expected to continue with the remainder of his tour schedule after the birth of his child.

His next planned appearance remains the Buckeye Country Superfest in Ohio on June 13, while the broader SNIPE HUNT tour is scheduled to resume on July 9 with a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St Louis, Missouri.
