Connor Storrie is bringing a darker side to the screen in his upcoming Criminal Minds: Evolution debut, with an exclusive new clip offering a tense first look at the Heated Rivalry star’s guest role.

Storrie, 26, will make his first appearance in the Paramount+ crime drama on June 11, 2026, portraying Lance Kingston, a narcissistic man accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend who quickly becomes a key figure in a Behavioural Analysis Unit investigation.

In the newly released scene, Lance is interrogated by Special Agent Jennifer “JJ” Jareau, played by A. J. Cook. As JJ confronts him with details from his past, including previous legal troubles and assault charges, the conversation escalates dramatically. Lance loses his temper, sweeps paperwork aside and erupts in anger as the interrogation spirals out of control.

The role was originally intended to be a one-episode guest appearance. However, according to showrunner Erica Messer, Storrie impressed the creative team so much during filming that his storyline was expanded into a four-episode arc. Director and actor Adam Rodriguez also praised the actor’s performance, highlighting his ability to balance menace with vulnerability.

Storrie has become one of television’s fastest-rising stars following his breakout performance as Ilya Rozanov in the hit hockey romance series Heated Rivalry. His growing popularity has fuelled anticipation for his turn in the long-running procedural franchise.

Season 19 of Criminal Minds: Evolution premiered on May 28, 2026, and follows the BAU as they face a dangerous new adversary known as “The Fan”, whose obsession is tied to serial killer Elias Voit, played by Zach Gilford. New episodes are released weekly on Paramount+.
