Two illegal kidney transplant suspects secure bail
During proceedings, FIA maintained granting bail could affect inquiry, hinder efforts to gather additional evidence

The District & Sessions Court of Islamabad on Tuesday granted post-arrest bail to two key accused, including Dr Nadir, despite strong opposition from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the illegal kidney transplant case.
The court approved their release against surety bonds of Rs100,000 each. Civil Judge Ahmad Shahzad Gondal heard the bail applications of Dr Nadir and another accused. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court approved the applications and ordered their release on bail.
During the proceedings, FIA officials opposed the requests and argued that further investigation was still required. The agency maintained that granting bail at this stage could affect the ongoing inquiry and hinder efforts to gather additional evidence.
