BISE launches online result card
Private Matric students, registered schools offered downloading

The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has enabled online downloading of original result cards for all private candidates who appeared in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) First Annual Examination this year.
The initiative allows thousands of Matric students to obtain their result cards directly from the official digital platform without visiting the board office.
The facility has also been extended to affiliated educational institutions. Regular schools and colleges operating under the BISE can also download the result cards of their students through their institutional portals.
The move is expected to help streamline the college admission process in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib, the four districts under the jurisdiction of the Lahore Board.
Lahore BISE Controller Toseefur Rahman said the system would save time of students and institutions while ensuring secure and immediate access to official academic documents.
The board had announced the Matric First Annual Examination 2026 results last week. The students could earlier check their results online, through SMS and the official gazette.
The original result card download facility, candidates now have direct access to the official document required for admissions, scholarships and other academic purposes.
"The Lahore Board has urged candidates to ensure that all personal information printed on their result cards, including their name, father's name, date of birth and examination particulars, is accurate. Students have been advised to apply for corrections or rechecking through the prescribed online procedures in case of any discrepancy, said the BISE official.
Officials clarified that rechecking involves verification of totaling, unmarked answers and other procedural aspects rather than fresh evaluation of answer scripts. Over recent years, the board has introduced electronic roll number slips, admissions, migration certificates, result gazettes and various student support portals. The digital initiatives are particularly beneficial for students from remote areas who had to travel to obtain official documents.
Most colleges have begun preparations for the next academic session following the announcement of the Matric results and the ready access to original result cards is likely to speed up admission processing and document verification.
