Atlus has confirmed that Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the game also set to be available through Xbox Game Pass on day one.

The release date was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 alongside the remake’s first gameplay trailer, offering fans their most detailed look yet at the reimagined version of the acclaimed role-playing game.

The trailer showcased the game's protagonist and party members battling enemies within the mysterious Midnight Channel, a central element of the original Persona 4 story.

The footage also highlighted the updated visuals that bring the rural Japanese town of Inaba to life with modern graphics while retaining the atmosphere of the original release.

According to Atlus, Persona 4 Revival follows a high school student who moves to Inaba, where a series of murders disrupts the quiet community.

At the same time, rumours spread about a strange television channel that only appears on rainy nights. As the mystery unfolds, players will awaken the power of Persona and investigate the supernatural events linked to the killings.

The remake will once again combine school life, friendships, romance and social activities with turn-based combat against creatures known as Shadows. Players will be able to strengthen relationships through Social Links while exploring an alternate world hidden beyond television screens.

Pre-orders are available now across multiple editions. The standard edition will retail for £64.99, while a collector’s edition featuring an artbook, SteelBook, statue, keycaps, keychain and additional downloadable content has also been announced.

Digital Deluxe and Premium editions will include extra costumes, Personas and music packs inspired by Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal.

Atlus has also announced a special presentation titled Persona 4 Revival TV, scheduled for June 18, where the developer will reveal additional details about the story, characters and new gameplay features.

The release date announcement comes shortly after Atlus officially revealed Persona 6, confirming that both major entries in the Persona franchise are currently in development and scheduled for upcoming release.
