Court permission sought to record voice sample of Pinky
Police have approached the court of a Judicial Magistrate seeking permission to record the voice sample of drug dealer Anmol Pinky, from prison.
The investigating officer has also filed an application requesting that digital evidence in narcotics and other related cases, including voice recordings, be sent to a forensic laboratory in Punjab for analysis.
In the application, police requested that the court direct forensic examination of the digital evidence by the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory. It was stated that the available evidence includes voice recordings, voice messages, and call recordings.
Police further submitted that during the investigation, the accused denied that the recorded voice messages belonged to her. Therefore, permission is being sought to obtain her voice sample while she is in jail.
The investigation team argued that forensic analysis of all digital evidence would help confirm the authenticity of the voice.
Interim challan submitted
The investigating officer has submitted an interim challan to the prosecution department in the murder case registered against accused Anmol Pinky, at Baghdadi police station.
According to the interim challan, on May 7, the complainant was passing through Haji Pir Muhammad Road in connection with motorcycle repair work when he noticed a body lying on the footpath, surrounded by a crowd.
The complainant stated that with the help of rescue personnel, the body was shifted to Baghdadi police station.
