Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly planning to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with sources claiming the high-profile venue has been chosen for their upcoming wedding.

According to a report from In Touch, the couple are expected to say “I do” at the iconic arena over the Fourth of July weekend in 2026. The venue choice has not been confirmed by Swift or Kelce, but the location holds significant personal history for the singer.

Swift has performed at Madison Square Garden multiple times throughout her career, including during her Fearless and Speak Now tours, as well as appearances at Z100’s Jingle Ball concerts. The arena is widely regarded as one of the most important stages in her touring history.

One particularly notable moment at MSG came in 2017, when Swift attended the Jingle Ball while dating actor Joe Alwyn. At the time, the pair arrived together at the venue, with reports describing them as holding hands as they entered the building.

Swift and Alwyn dated from late 2016 until April 2023. Their relationship was known for being extremely private, with the couple rarely appearing publicly together. Sources previously told People that the relationship ended due to “differences in their personalities” after a period of gradual strain.

“They’ve had rough patches before and always worked things out,” one insider said at the time. However, the source added that over time the pair ultimately “weren’t the right fit for one another.”

Reports have also suggested that Alwyn struggled with the level of public attention surrounding Swift’s global fame. The couple had reportedly spent much of their relationship in a more private, “insulated” environment during the pandemic years, which some sources said changed once normal public life resumed.

The latest claims about Swift and Kelce’s wedding also suggest the singer is taking unusual steps to maintain secrecy around the event. According to Daily Mail, Swift has reportedly avoided sending physical invitations in favour of phone calls to prevent any details from leaking publicly.

A source claimed Swift is also sharing slightly different information with guests to help identify any potential leaks if wedding details are made public ahead of time.

Neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed any wedding plans or publicly commented on the reported venue or date.

For now, the claims remain unverified, but the report has already sparked widespread fan speculation given Swift’s long history with Madison Square Garden and the couple’s high-profile relationship.
