RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley shuts down claims PK staged home invasion

Dorit Kemsley has addressed long-running speculation surrounding the 2021 armed robbery at her family home, firmly denying claims that her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, had any involvement in the incident.

In her new memoir Unburdened, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star reflects on the traumatic home invasion that took place in October 2021 while she was at home with the couple’s two children, Jagger and Phoenix. According to authorities, three intruders entered the property and stole an undisclosed amount of valuables. PK Kemsley was out of town at the time.

Recalling the incident, Dorit describes being confronted by armed intruders and fearing for her life while trying to protect her children. She writes that her children slept through the ordeal and remained unaware of the details in the immediate aftermath.

The reality star also addresses the rumours that emerged following the robbery. In Unburdened, Dorit says some people questioned the legitimacy of the incident despite security footage, a 911 call and an active police investigation. She claims the speculation later evolved into suggestions that PK may have orchestrated the robbery.

Dorit rejects those allegations outright, writing that the accusations remain difficult to comprehend years later. She states that PK “did not” have any involvement in the home invasion and describes the rumours as both painful and surreal.

The revelations come amid the former couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings. Dorit filed for divorce from PK in April 2025, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking sole legal and physical custody of their children. PK later responded by requesting joint custody.

According to People, Dorit discusses both the robbery and its aftermath extensively in her memoir, offering her most detailed account yet of the traumatic event and the speculation that followed.
