Protest Against Police: Rally against firing on MSF leader

MSF leader Maroof Khan had been shot at after giving protection to several students in the university.

MULTAN: The Tonga Cycle Association took out a rally against a firing incident on a Muslim Student’s Federation (MSF) leader on Sunday. According to eyewitnesses, the rally was taken out at Vehari Chowk and hundreds of protesters shouted slogans and said that MSF leader Maroof Khan had been shot at after giving protection to several students in the university. The protesters said that the police had not taken any action regarding the incident despite repeated appeals. They demanded that the authorities arrest the men who fired at Maroof Khan as soon as possible.
