'Lucky' trailer reveals Anya Taylor-Joy in a deadly race for survival
Anya Taylor-Joy stars as a fugitive con artist in Apple TV+ thriller 'Lucky', premiering this July worldwide

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Lucky, a new limited thriller series starring Anya Taylor-Joy as a con artist forced to flee after a high-stakes robbery goes wrong.
Based on the bestselling novel by Marissa Stapley, which was also selected for Reese’s Book Club, the seven-episode series follows a woman known as Lucky whose life is thrown into chaos when a major heist unravels. According to the official synopsis, she finds herself pursued by both the FBI and a powerful crime boss, leaving her with few options as she fights to survive.
Taylor-Joy not only leads the cast but also serves as an executive producer on the project through her production banner, LadyKiller. The actress is joined by an ensemble cast that includes Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr. and William Fichtner.
The series comes from Apple Studios and Hello Sunshine, the production company founded by Reese Witherspoon. Jonathan Tropper serves as co-showrunner, writer and executive producer alongside Cassie Pappas. Director Jonathan van Tulleken, who helmed the pilot episode, is also among the executive producers.
The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of a fast-paced crime thriller centred on deception, survival and the consequences of a plan gone wrong. The story places Taylor-Joy’s character at the centre of a dangerous chase as she attempts to stay one step ahead of those pursuing her.
Lucky will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on 15 July, with the first two episodes debuting together. New episodes will then be released weekly through 19 August.
