The return of Love Island USA Season 8 has been confirmed, with the new series set to premiere on June 2 at 9pm ET exclusively on Peacock.

The reality dating series will once again be filmed in Fiji, bringing together a group of single contestants as they look to form romantic connections while competing for a $100,000 prize.

The format follows the established Love Island franchise originating in the UK, with American viewers able to influence outcomes through voting on the official app.

The Season 8 cast was revealed on social media last week, introducing 12 new islanders. However, one of the female contestants, Vasana Montgomery, was reportedly dismissed after videos resurfaced online of her using a racial slur in the past.

It remains unclear whether she had already entered the villa and begun filming before her removal.

Episodes will air almost daily on Peacock, with broadcasts scheduled every day except Wednesdays. The show’s fast-paced format allows episodes to air shortly after filming, enabling viewers to vote on recouplings, eliminations and final outcomes throughout the season.

The series is hosted by Ariana Madix, who guides viewers through villa developments, challenges and the arrival of new bombshell contestants, whose role is to disrupt existing couples and shift dynamics within the group.

A companion talk show, Aftersun, will air weekly on Saturdays, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with islanders. It will be co-hosted by Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa, providing additional commentary on villa events.
