Off Campus star Antonio Cipriano has teased what fans can expect from John Logan’s long-awaited romance with Grace Ivers in Season 2, even though the upcoming season will officially focus on Dean and Allie’s relationship.

Speaking to People, Cipriano explained that while Prime Video is changing the order of Elle Kennedy’s book series by making Dean and Allie the central couple of Season 2, Logan and Grace’s story will still begin to unfold in the new episodes.

The actor said he is “glad” viewers did not see Logan fall in love during Season 1 because it allowed audiences to first understand who he is as a person and the struggles he faces. According to Cipriano, that foundation will make Grace’s arrival even more meaningful as she begins to break down Logan’s emotional walls.

“I'm glad that you don't see him in love in the first season,” Cipriano told People, explaining that fans first needed to get to know Logan before seeing him enter a serious relationship. He suggested that Grace will reveal new sides of the character that audiences have not yet seen.

Season 2 will introduce Grace, Logan’s love interest from Kennedy’s novel The Mistake, with India Fowler joining the cast in the role. Cipriano praised the casting choice, calling Fowler the “perfect” Grace and saying she embodies the character exactly as fans imagined her from the books.

The actor also teased the chemistry between Logan and Grace, hinting that their relationship will develop gradually as part of the ensemble storytelling approach the series is adopting. While Dean and Allie will be Season 2’s primary romance, Logan and Grace’s connection is expected to play an important role in setting up future storylines.

Prime Video recently confirmed that Season 2 will centre on Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, portrayed by Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla. However, the introduction of Grace has fuelled excitement among readers of Kennedy’s books, many of whom have been eager to see Logan’s romance begin on screen.

Cipriano also expressed enthusiasm about where Dean and Allie’s story is heading, telling fans that they will be “rooting” for the couple as their relationship takes centre stage next season.

Based on Kennedy’s bestselling Off Campus novels, the Prime Video adaptation follows interconnected romances among students at Briar University. With Grace now officially joining the series and Cipriano teasing Logan’s emotional journey ahead, fans can expect Season 2 to begin laying the groundwork for one of the franchise’s most anticipated relationships.
