Armie Hammer has become the centre of another viral social media discussion after new photographs of the actor walking in West Hollywood spread across social media.

The 39 year old actor was photographed recently during a rare public outing in Los Angeles. Wearing a black T shirt, camouflage shorts, trainers and a baseball cap, Hammer appeared noticeably different from the polished Hollywood image many people associated with him during the height of his career. A thick moustache and facial stubble added to the rugged appearance that quickly became the focus of online conversation.

The images gained particular attention after being shared on social media. Within hours, hundreds of comments appeared, with many users claiming they barely recognised the actor.

One commenter asked, “How did you even recognise him?” while another user joked that Hammer had always looked like “Generic Handsome Man #5”. Others focused on his changed appearance, with several users making dark jokes connected to the controversy that dramatically altered his public reputation in 2021.

Hammer’s career collapsed after multiple women accused him of emotional abuse, sexual misconduct and violent behaviour.
