Suki Waterhouse has revealed a sweet behind-the-scenes story involving Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie, recalling how the actor comforted her during a nerve-racking flight filled with turbulence.
Speaking in a new Variety interview, the singer and actress reflected on some of her favourite moments from the 2026 Met Gala, including reconnecting with Storrie at the star-studded event.
Waterhouse explained that the pair had recently travelled together when their plane encountered severe turbulence. “I was sort of clutching onto him the whole time,” she admitted while laughing about the experience.
The anecdote quickly sparked excitement online among fans of Storrie, who has become one of television’s fastest-rising stars following the success of Heated Rivalry. Some fans on Reddit pointed out that Storrie has previously admitted he is also afraid of flying, making the story even more endearing to supporters.
Elsewhere in the interview, Waterhouse also shared several memorable celebrity encounters from the Met Gala, including meeting music legend Stevie Nicks and being pranked by Saturday Night Live comedian Marcello Hernandez. According to Waterhouse, Hernandez introduced her to Bad Bunny while wearing old-man prosthetic makeup and jokingly claimed to be the singer’s uncle. “He totally got me,” she said.
Waterhouse additionally confirmed that she is among the guests invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding, joking that she hopes to use the ceremony as inspiration while planning her own wedding to fiancé Robert Pattinson.
Storrie, meanwhile, continues experiencing a major career breakthrough after the massive popularity of Heated Rivalry. The actor recently made his Met Gala debut in Saint Laurent and has become a fixture at major fashion and entertainment events throughout 2026.
