Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz’s once highly publicised friendship has reportedly come to an end, with new claims suggesting tensions grew after Gomez allegedly felt Peltz was becoming too close to her inner circle.

The pair first became close in 2022 after meeting at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. Alongside Brooklyn Beckham, they quickly formed a tight-knit friendship that frequently played out across social media, with Gomez famously joking that the trio were a “throuple”.

However, according to a source cited by The Blast, Gomez eventually became uncomfortable when Peltz allegedly began spending time with her friends independently. The insider claimed Gomez felt Peltz was “stealing her friends”, which reportedly caused the singer and actress to distance herself from the relationship.

Rumours surrounding a fallout intensified over the past year after fans noticed the former friends were no longer appearing together publicly.
