Millie Bobby Brown has prompted debate online after discussing her husband Jake Bongiovi’s travel habits during a resurfaced interview.
The interview, originally recorded for Crocs in August 2025, recently gained renewed attention on social media, where one clip has received more than six million views on X.
In the video, the Stranger Things actor described what she called her biggest travel pet peeve involving Bongiovi.
“My husband, he doesn’t pack any clothes, just ever,” Brown said. “So we’ll leave, and I’ll have a big suitcase, and he has nothing with him.
“Just his phone, never really a charger. Usually, he just steals mine and then takes his computer. Then he goes, ‘Mill, I don’t have any clothes.’”
Brown added, “And I go, ‘No s***, Sherlock. You didn’t pack anything.’ And he goes, ‘Yeah, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll just have to go shopping here.’ And that is where he gets you. So he likes to not pack, to then go to a place to go shop for the trip that he didn’t pack for.”
The comments led to mixed reactions online. Some social media users criticised Bongiovi, with several describing the behaviour as immature or entitled.
Others defended him, arguing that the habit reflected his interest in shopping rather than irresponsibility.
One user wrote that Bongiovi “just has a shopping addiction”, while others said the criticism was excessive.
Brown has previously spoken about her husband’s spending habits. During a 2025 appearance on the podcast Call Her Daddy, she said Bongiovi preferred shopping at luxury brands, while she preferred lower-cost options.
“I’ll be like, ‘Oh, I need socks.’ And he’ll be like, ‘Let’s go to Prada,’” Brown said. “And I’m like, ‘Let’s go to Target.’”
