Prime Video’s hit hockey romance series Off Campus has officially confirmed that Season 2 will centre on fan-favourite couple Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis.
The announcement confirms long-running speculation among viewers following the success of the show’s first season, which focused on Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham’s romance. Actors Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn will now take centre stage as Allie and Dean’s complicated relationship moves into the spotlight.
The Prime Video series is based on Off-Campus author Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Briar U novels and follows a Bridgerton-style structure, with each season focusing on a different couple within the same friendship group. Season 1 adapted The Deal, while the upcoming season is expected to draw heavily from The Score, the third novel in Kennedy’s series.
Showrunner Louisa Levy previously hinted that Allie and Dean’s romance was intentionally introduced early during the first season so audiences would already be invested in their story before the transition. She explained that their secretive dynamic made them a natural fit for the show’s evolving format.
Fans have already responded enthusiastically to the pairing, with Dean and Allie emerging as one of the breakout relationships from Season 1 thanks to their chemistry and emotionally charged storyline. Their romance is expected to explore deeper themes in Season 2, including grief, vulnerability and Dean’s personal struggles.
Although Hannah and Garrett will no longer be the main focus, stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli are expected to return in supporting roles as the series continues expanding the world of Briar University.
Production on Season 2 is reportedly scheduled to begin this summer, with all eight scripts already completed. If the show follows a similar production timeline to Season 1, the next instalment could arrive on Prime Video in 2027.
