Ironmouse has frequently spoken publicly about living with Common Variable Immunodeficiency, also known as CVID, a rare immune disorder that weakens the body’s immune system and can lead to recurring infections and other health complications.
She has also discussed a separate lung condition that has contributed to long periods of being bedridden and isolated at home while managing her health.
Fans described the treadmill milestone as significant considering her medical condition and the physical challenges she has previously shared online.
One user wrote, “The fact she can walk for 35 minutes is amazing,” while another commented, “Yay, Ironmouse is going places with those strong legs.”
Gaming company Razer also reacted to the post, replying, “THE GOAT.”
Other VTubers and online creators congratulated Ironmouse on the progress, with many noting they were happy to see continued improvement after years of updates about her health journey.
Despite her medical struggles, Ironmouse has become one of the most prominent VTubers on Twitch.
In 2024, she briefly became the platform’s most-subscribed streamer after surpassing Kai Cenat during a record-breaking subathon. The event also raised funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
Ironmouse has continued to use her platform to discuss chronic illness awareness during her streams.
