PARIS:
Manchester City, Manchester United and Inter Milan are aware that they must step up a gear in their second Champions League outings tonight. City suffered from nerves in their opener against Napoli, but manager Roberto Mancini predicts that the pressure has now subsided as City prepare to face Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is pondering his most effective line-up in Wayne Rooney’s absence.
