KATSEYE has achieved a major commercial milestone after rapidly selling out dates for its upcoming WILDWORLD TOUR, marking the group’s biggest live venture since debuting. Despite several ongoing controversies surrounding the group in recent months, demand for tickets proved extremely strong during both presale and general sale periods, with multiple venues selling out within minutes.

The WILDWORLD TOUR represents a significant step forward for KATSEYE. It is the group’s first arena tour and also the first to include performances outside North America. Following overwhelming demand during initial sales, additional dates have already been added in several cities.

Fans reported enormous online queues during presale access earlier this week, with social media flooded by screenshots showing tens of thousands of people waiting for tickets simultaneously. General sale began the following day and many venues reportedly sold out between 30 minutes and one hour after tickets became available.

The strong response arrives during a particularly turbulent moment for the group. Much of the recent online conversation surrounding KATSEYE has focused on the divisive reception to their single “PINKY UP”, released on April 9 from the upcoming EP WILD. While some listeners praised the song’s experimental production and aggressive concept shift, others criticised the track heavily across social media platforms, leading to intense debate within the fandom.

The reaction quickly became one of the most polarising moments in KATSEYE’s young career. Clips from performances, teasers, and promotional content circulated widely online as fans argued over the musical direction and visual styling connected to the release. The discourse intensified after chart discussions and fan comparisons spread across TikTok, X, and online forums.

At the same time, concerns surrounding member Manon Bannerman have continued to fuel speculation online. Bannerman remains on hiatus, though details regarding her absence have remained limited publicly. The situation has prompted ongoing discussion among fans, particularly as promotional activities for the WILDWORLD TOUR and WILD era continue without her participation.

Despite the controversies, KATSEYE’s commercial momentum appears largely unaffected. Industry observers have pointed to the tour sales as evidence that the group’s fanbase remains highly engaged even during periods of criticism and uncertainty. The quick sellouts also suggest that interest in the group has expanded significantly beyond their original audience following their breakout success over the past year.

The arena upgrade is especially notable because it reflects growing international demand. Earlier live appearances and smaller performances generated strong online engagement, but WILDWORLD marks the first time the group has attempted a large scale global touring strategy across multiple regions.
