Grand Theft Auto VI is still scheduled for release on November 19, according to new comments from Take-Two Interactive executives during the company’s latest earnings presentation.
Fans had expected fresh announcements regarding the game during Take-Two’s Q4 2026 and fiscal year earnings report, particularly following speculation about a new trailer and possible pre-orders.
However, the company limited its update to reaffirming the release timeline and discussing future marketing plans.
Take-Two chief executive Strauss Zelnick reportedly stated that the publisher remains confident in the planned launch date and expects the game to drive record financial performance during Fiscal Year 2027.
“We’ve been really clear that we’re releasing the title on November 19,” Zelnick said during an interview with Variety.
The executive also addressed speculation surrounding promotional activity for the game, suggesting that marketing would not begin immediately but is expected later this year.
“The next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing ‘GTA 6,’” he explained.
Zelnick additionally confirmed that pre-orders are expected to begin alongside the marketing campaign, according to comments made to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier.
Take-Two also forecast net bookings between $8 billion and $8.2 billion, with the company attributing expected growth largely to GTA 6’s launch performance.
Alongside the update on GTA 6, the earnings presentation included new sales milestones for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
