Balochistan opens first women's AI lab
In a bid to promote women's empowerment, digital inclusion, and economic independence, Balochistan has inaugurated its first Entrepreneurship AI Lab for Women.
The lab was formally opened by Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Women's Development, in collaboration with the Women Development Department and DOCH Private Limited.
The AI Lab is designed to equip women with training in artificial intelligence, digital skills, business development, and modern technology, enabling them to become self-reliant and play a meaningful role in national progress.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr Rubaba Khan Baloch highlighted that Balochistan's women possess immense potential, and the government is committed to aligning them with the demands of the modern era.
She emphasized that access to education alone is not enough; women must also be provided with opportunities in technology and entrepreneurship.
The lab, she said, will serve as a platform where women can harness AI, digital innovation, and entrepreneurial expertise to turn their aspirations into reality.
The initiative is expected to generate opportunities in employment, online businesses, freelancing, and technology-driven ventures.
