The breakout stars of Heated Rivalry are continuing to build momentum beyond the hit hockey romance series, with new projects, film roles, and major industry opportunities already lined up.
The cast of the Canadian sports drama, led by Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, has remained highly active following the show’s success, with several actors balancing film shoots, voice roles, and upcoming television projects while awaiting production on future seasons.
Storrie, who plays Ilya Rozanov, has been working on multiple creative projects, including a feature film directorial debut titled Transaction Planet, which he reportedly shot independently. He has also continued voice work and is attached to upcoming projects that further expand his range beyond Heated Rivalry.
Williams, who portrays Shane Hollander, has also stayed busy with new roles and developing projects, including short films and a growing slate of screen work in both film and television. He is additionally set to appear in upcoming productions such as The Altruists and other projects currently in development.
Other cast members have similarly moved into new work across television and film. Dylan Walsh has multiple film and TV projects in the pipeline, while François Arnaud and Robbie GK continue to appear at industry events and promotional campaigns tied to their rising profiles following the show’s success.
The series itself, based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, premiered in late 2025 and quickly became a breakout success for its portrayal of a secret romance between two professional hockey players. Its popularity has translated into strong fan engagement, awards buzz, and renewed interest in the cast’s off-screen careers.
Season 2 is already in development, with filming expected to begin in 2026 and a projected release in 2027, ensuring the story of Shane and Ilya will continue even as the actors expand into new creative territory.
