The Boys may be wrapping up with its fifth and final season, but the superhero franchise is far from over.

Prime Video is continuing to expand the “Vought Cinematic Universe” with several spinoffs in various stages of development, including the already announced prequel Vought Rising and the long-gestating The Boys: Mexico.

The college-set spinoff Gen V will conclude with its second season and will not return for Season 3. However, executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg have said the characters will continue to appear in future projects in the franchise.

The biggest confirmed project is Vought Rising, a 1950s-set prequel starring Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash reprising her role as Stormfront, then known as Clara Vought. The series is described as a twisted murder mystery exploring the early days of Vought International and is expected to debut in 2027.

Another project still in development is The Boys: Mexico, with Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal attached as executive producers. Few plot details have been announced, and no release date has been set.

The animated anthology The Boys Presents: Diabolical remains a one-season project, with no additional episodes currently announced.

While the flagship series is coming to an end, Prime Video appears committed to keeping the franchise alive through new stories that explore both the origins of Vought and fresh corners of its satirical superhero world.
