Fresh online speculation has emerged surrounding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie after new claims circulated about her daughter Annie Guthrie and son in law Tommaso Cioni reportedly leaving their Arizona home.
Nancy Guthrie, the 84 year old mother of television presenter Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing earlier this year after allegedly being dropped home following a family dinner in the Catalina Foothills area near Tucson. According to reports circulating online, concerns were raised after signs of forced entry and alleged blood evidence were reportedly discovered at the property. Authorities have not publicly confirmed many of the claims spreading across social media.
The latest attention surrounding the case came after self described investigative commentator Jonathan Lee Riches posted statements on X claiming Annie Guthrie and Cioni had not been seen at their home for more than a week. He alleged their car was gone and stated the property had previously been treated like a crime scene by investigators.
Riches also questioned why the family had reportedly been cleared by authorities while the search for Nancy Guthrie remains unresolved. However, no official evidence has been presented publicly linking Annie Guthrie or Cioni to any wrongdoing, and no arrests have been announced in connection with the case.
Authorities continue to investigate the disappearance. Reports indicate that multiple agencies, including local law enforcement and the FBI, have assisted in the search efforts over the past several months. Despite extensive searches, no confirmed proof of life has emerged publicly since Nancy Guthrie vanished.
The case has increasingly become the subject of online theories and social media discussion, particularly because of Savannah Guthrie’s public profile as a major US television personality. Many users on Reddit and X have closely followed developments, often sharing unverified claims and speculation alongside official updates.
At present, investigators have released very little confirmed information about the circumstances surrounding Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. Law enforcement officials have not publicly named any suspects, and there has been no formal announcement suggesting foul play charges are imminent.
The online claims regarding Annie Guthrie and Tommaso Cioni leaving their home remain unverified by authorities. Public interest in the case has nevertheless continued to grow as more than 100 days have reportedly passed since Nancy Guthrie was last seen.
For now, the disappearance remains an active and unresolved investigation, with officials continuing to urge anyone with credible information to contact authorities directly rather than rely on social media rumours.
