A viral screenshot allegedly showing Liam Hemsworth messaging ex-wife Miley Cyrus on Instagram has sent social media into meltdown, though fans still aren’t convinced it’s real.
The now-viral image claims Liam privately messaged Miley begging her to respond, writing: “Miley, please reply to me,” before adding, “This time, I’m not asking for money.”
The alleged exchange then shows Miley responding with only “...” before Liam follows up with: “Call me back!”
The screenshot quickly exploded across X, TikTok, and celebrity gossip pages, with many fans joking that the interaction sounded like a chaotic post-breakup soap opera. Others, however, pointed out several reasons why the messages could easily be fake.

The image reportedly originated from claims that Miley’s Instagram account had once been hacked, though there is currently no evidence proving the leaked conversation is real.
Despite doubts, the alleged messages reignited public fascination with Miley and Liam’s famously turbulent relationship, which began after they met filming The Last Song in 2009.
After years of breakups, reconciliations, and a brief marriage in 2018, the pair divorced less than a year later. Their split later inspired intense fan speculation surrounding Miley’s hit song Flowers, which many believed referenced Liam and their failed relationship.
